In a surprising collaboration that challenges conventional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Disclosed

According to the authorized statement, "An unusual encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of forbidden practices and monstrous changes resonate through the shadows." The storyline features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden group.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Changes

The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
