Fresh Details Surface Concerning the Finding of Rob and Michele Singer Reiner's Bodies

Recent details have emerged concerning the untimely deaths of renowned filmmaker Rob Reiner and artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were found at their Los Angeles home home on Sunday.

The Initial Report

As detailed in an account citing a family associate, a practitioner scheduled for an session was the first to notice something was wrong after being unable to gain access the home. The therapist then contacted the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who lives in the vicinity.

When she went into the home, Romy found her father's body. Reports state she then fled the house in anguish, unaware at that moment that her mother's body was there as well. A companion who had gone with her promptly called 911. Following this, paramedics discovered Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Legal Charges

Law enforcement have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of murder in the first degree, along with the charge related to a weapon, reportedly a knife. He is currently in custody and is ineligible for bail.

Disputed Reports

The confidential informant questioned several earlier details. They said that while Romy Reiner told first responders that her brother Nick resided in a detached unit on the grounds, she did not point to him as a person of interest at that juncture.

The source also disputed published suggestions that Rob and Michele Singer Reiner had been particularly "apprehensive" about Nick's behavior in the preceding period. Rather the family was "familiar with working through [Nick's] problems together."

This correction also extends to accounts of alleged "erratic" behavior by Nick at a gathering hosted by Conan O'Brien on the night before the tragedy. Although the source said they were unable to confirm whether Rob had "rebuked" his son at the party, they maintained that claims of a "blow-up" between the two were inaccurate.

Ongoing Inquiry Details

According to law enforcement sources, the coroner had yet to determine at that point whether the Reiners died late on Saturday or on Sunday. Some accounts noted the state of their bodies suggested they had been deceased for a number of hours.

Nick Reiner was arrested at around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Exposition Park, roughly 15 miles from the scene. He was set to be arraigned on Tuesday, but his legal counsel, Alan Jackson, said his client had not been medically cleared and would be unable to attend until no sooner than Wednesday.
