Military Reserve Activated In Preparation for Nationwide Anti-Monarchy Rallies

Republican state leaders in multiple US territories have placed National Guard units on alert preparing for massive gatherings challenging Donald Trump and his agenda.

Demonstration Scope and Coordination

Organizers of the "No Kings" campaign declared that gatherings are scheduled at exceeding 2,500 locations around the country.

As per protest coordinators, the previous Anti-Authoritarian event in June brought out more than five million participants protesting Trump's policy direction.

Regional Measures

Governors in Texas and Virginia have formally mobilized their regional National Guard units, though the degree of military visibility remains uncertain.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott mentioned the "planned antifa-linked demonstration" as justification for activating regional forces.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin correspondingly ordered deployment of the state's National Guard contingent.

Partisan Statements

Protest coordinators described the assemblies as opposition to Trump's "strong-arm tactics."

"The president believes his rule is total," they state on their online platform.

"However in the United States, we reject monarchs and we won't back down against disorder, corruption, and brutality."

Various conservatives have dubbed the protests as "Hate America" gatherings.

Kansas Senator Roger Marshall reportedly remarked before the demonstrations: "We must deploy the National Guard."

"Hopefully it'll be calm. I have reservations," he added.

Opposition Position

Liberal officials condemned the activation of military troops.

Texas Democrat Gene Wu contended: "Dispatching armed military personnel to quell peaceful rallies is exactly what kings and dictators do — and Greg Abbott just proved he's like them."
