Singer D4vd Reportedly Identified as Person of Interest in Tragic Demise of Adolescent Discovered in Tesla

The performer known as D4vd has been identified as a person of interest in the death of Celeste Rivas, a adolescent who disappeared and was later discovered deceased inside the artist's Tesla automobile earlier this year, based on police.

Discovery of the Remains

This deteriorated remains of Rivas, fifteen, was located in the fall inside the front storage compartment of a black Tesla registered to D4vd, whose actual name is David Anthony Burke. This car had been ticketed in a Hollywood Hills and subsequently confiscated at a tow yard in Los Angeles.

Chronology of Incidents

Police theorize that Rivas almost certainly succumbed in the spring, noting that D4vd had apparently assisted in cutting up and discarding the corpse. The musician has not been cooperative in the investigation, per a official representative.

This teenager Rivas was originally declared missing from her hometown in April 2024. Her corpse was subsequently located in the musician's Tesla after workers at a towing company notified a strong stench coming from the vehicle.

Inquiry and Official Remarks

The fatal cause has still not been identified, but the medical examiner's office remarked that Rivas seems to have been deceased inside the car for an extended period before being discovered.” Authorities are considering her death as a suspicious death.

Background on D4vd

This Texas-based musician had been handed a citation in the Hollywood area just 11 days before Rivas was located in the car, after overstaying the short-term parking limit. Residents in the area stated that the Tesla had been parked in the vicinity for more than 30 days.

Rivas's brother revealed that the household was knowledgeable that Rivas knew the musician and that she was headed to attend a cinema with him just before she vanished.

D4vd, referred to as “David,” is a NY-native musician known for the hits “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” He and his agent were living at a Los Angeles property in the Hollywood area in September, according to the residence's landlord, until law enforcement investigated the residence.

D4vd has signed with Darkroom and Interscope. The artist was traveling for performances at the period Rivas's remains were discovered, but terminated those appearances following the location of Rivas's corpse.
